Visual Resources Collection

The Visual Resources Collection is powered by LUNA, a software platform that includes images of art, architecture, and world history. LUNA can be used to find images for immediate use in very much the same manner as the library catalog or any other familiar search engine, to create and save image groups or presentations for later use.

How to access the Visual Resource Collection through LUNA:

  • The best resource for getting started with LUNA is to utilize the Art and Art History Research Guide.
  • LUNA accounts are available to anyone who has a WSU Access ID. Create a LUNA account.
  • LUNA is accessible on and off-campus. However, use of LUNA off campus requires confirmation of university status using your WSU access ID.

Visual Resources Center

The Visual Resources Center offers instructional assistance and support services to faculty and students. The center also offers a multi-purpose space can seat 12 people comfortably and contains a student assistant training lab. Equipment is available in the room for virtual meetings and demonstrations, LUNA instruction, departmental business, informal gatherings, and other special events.
