Complete the WSU online graduate application. For admission consideration, submit the completed application, official transcripts, and other materials as directed.

  • The department deadlines supersede any other published deadline. For all applications completed by the deadline, the applicant will receive a notification letter stating the department's decision. 

Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA)

The Department of Art and Art History offers a limited number of Graduate Teaching Assistantships to full-time students of superior ability and potential. There are two GTA categories: Art History and Studio Art/ Design.

The application deadline for GTAs is January 15. 

Follow the directions in your graduate program application. To apply for a GTA, your application will require the completion of a supplemental written statement (no more than 500 words) summarizing your purpose and goals.
