Who is the CFPCA Success Coach?
Meet Molly, the Success Coach and advisor in CFPCA's dean's office. She strives to help students make immediate and long-term changes that will benefit their academic success. She has the opportunity to frequently work with any CFPCA student who wants more intensive support in overcoming the challenges that they are facing. Molly works in collaboration with students' academic advisors in developing a path for getting students back on track.
College is a challenge—and this is no different for the Creative Warriors in the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts. Fortunately, lots of support exists to ensure your academic success.
What if I'm already struggling?
Academic probation is a very real challenge that some CFPCA students experience during their time at Wayne State. You may be having a hard time in a few courses in the same semester or experiencing challenges over multiple semesters. Either way, the CFPCA Success Coach can help. Once you are on academic probation, the key is to increase your cumulative grade point average above a 2.0 as soon as possible.
