Entertainers who have shared an affiliation with Wayne State University are noted among a list of Michigan-influenced television shows. Lily Tomlin, who attended Wayne State University, was a cast member of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In. WSU graduate S. Epatha Merkerson appeared in the original Law & Order series. And radio personality Casey Kasem hosted America’s Top 10 on TV and was the voice of Shaggy for the animated series Scooby-Doo. Also mentioned are WSU theatre alums and former students Tom Skerritt and Larry Joe Campbell '99 and WSU communication alums and former students Chad Everett '60, Tim Meadows and Paul Feig.
