WSU's College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts CFPCA 'Be Inspired' recruitment video nominated for an EMMY® Award
The small video production team including CFPCA students, alumni and staff is up against Michigan State University
Wayne State University (WSU)'s College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts (CFPCA) in collaboration with University Television is in the running to receive a coveted Michigan National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) EMMY® Award, for the College's Be Inspired recruitment video.
The NATAS and the EMMY® Award stand for the best in the television industry. The National Academy is the only non-profit organization dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievement, raising industry standards, and improving the quality of television.
The Michigan EMMY® represents the most experienced and talented television professionals from all disciplines of the industry and from all of Michigan's 11 television markets. The Michigan Chapter was charted by the National Academy in 1978 as the Detroit chapter, which expanded to include the entire state of Michigan in 1989.
Be Inspired is in the nomination category Promotion - Program- Single Spot. It is up against Michigan State University's Your Tomorrow promotional video.

The 39th EMMY® Awards Ceremony begins at MotorCity Sound Board Theatre on Saturday, June 10 at 7:00 p.m.
