WHAT: President's Preview Hilberry Gateway Opening Celebration

WHO: President M. Roy Wilson, Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Provost Mark Kornbluh, members of the Wayne State Board of Governors, Rochelle Riley, College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts Dean Hasan Elahi and more host the President's Preview Hilberry Gateway Opening Celebration.

WHY: This is the official opening celebration for the long-awaited Hilberry Gateway project, ushering in a new era of performing arts education and live entertainment in Midtown Detroit. In addition to remarks and celebrations, both the STAGE and STUDIO theatres will be holding performances of “Cabaret” and “Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet.”
