Graduate Student Wins Award
Department of Music graduate student Ian Nicholas was awarded third place in poster and oral presentation at the annual Wayne State University Graduate and Postdoctoral Symposium on March 6, 2018. His project, "The Direct Effects of Lullabies on Parent/Infant's Biorhythms," draws on his work as the department's Graduate Research Assistant to the Detroit Lullaby Project, led by Dr. Wendy Matthews, as well as his work in MUH 5300 (Music Research). Mr. Nicholas is pursuing the MM degree with a concentration in conducting.
