Alumna Spotlight: Amanda Knaebel

In a few short weeks, Department of Communication alumna Amanda Knaebel '16 will board a flight to Puerto Rico alongside 80 DTE Energy employees, who will work to restore power to the island. Knaebel will follow the crews to capture firsthand the magnitude of devastation to the island's infrastructure and community since Hurricane Maria hit last September.

"This is a humble reminder of the power we have as storytellers, and I am so incredibly grateful to play a small yet meaningful role in the efforts to power Puerto Rico," said Knaebel.
