Transfer scholarships

Wayne State University offers scholarships to incoming transfer students. You are eligible to be considered for a transfer student award if you have graduated from high school, and have earned credits from another college or university. Department Scholarships

James Pearson Duffy Transfer Student Scholarship

Eligibility: Any incoming transfer student whose chosen major of study is art, art history, design, or design and merchandising. 

Amount: Award of $4000 per academic year (fall and winter semesters). Renewable for one additional year of baccalaureate study. 

We accept James Pearson Duffy Transfer Scholarship applications until March 1 of each year. This scholarship is awarded for the following academic year (For example--Students apply October 2021-March 2022 with an award for the Fall 2022-Winter 2022 semesters). Students must upload a portfolio of artwork in order to be considered for this scholarship.
