Six of 2016's Kresge Arts Fellows are from among WSU alumni, faculty, staff

The 2016 Kresge Artist Fellows were announced by Kresge Arts in Detroit June 22 and six members of the class of 2016 are from among Wayne State University alumni, faculty and staff. Congratulations to Christopher Jon Alexander, 1994 alumnus of the Department of Communication, CFPCA; Chi Amen-Ra, percussionist in the Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance for the To Sangana African Dance ensemble; Gary Anderson, 1986 and 1990 alumnus of the theatre program, CFPCA; Lecturer Biba Bell, a member of the dance faculty, CFPCA; Jessica Care Moore, former journalism student in the Dept. of Communication; and Erika "Red" Stowall, 2011 alumna of the College of Education with a teaching certification in dance.
