Honors Option for students majoring in Design (BFA)

15 credits total

Select the Honors option in two of the following courses (6 credits--depending on area of concentration):

• ADN 3100 Design Process
• AFA 2410 Textiles I
• AFA 3410 Textile Performance Analysis
• AFA 3420 Fashion Design: Advanced Construction
• AFA 2420 Fashion Design: Basic Construction
• AFA 3400 Clothing and Culture
• AFA 3460 Introduction to Fashion Merchandising
• AFA 4430 Fashion Illustration
• AGD 2250 Typography
• AGD 3250 Graphic Design I
• AIA 1610 Drafting and Perspectives
• AIA 2600 Intro to CAD
• AIA 2610 Interior Studio I
• AIA 3610 Interior Design Studio II
• AID 3300 Intro to Industrial Design
• AID 3310 Basic Presentation
• AID 3200 Ethnographic Research Methods in Design

In addition to above, the following three courses are required (9 credits):

• Honors Option in an advanced studio elective 5000-level or above (3 credits)
• ACS 5996, Honors Project (3 credits)
• One Honors Seminar from among HON 4200 through 4280 (3 credits)
