The Wayne State University Talent Scholarship program is designed to recognize talent in art, music, theatre, dance or forensics. These scholarships are based on an evaluation of the talent of individual students by Wayne State faculty and provide funds approximately equal to half of the cost of in-state tuition. To be eligible, you must fulfill admission requirements to Wayne State University.
The talent scholarship is available for eight consecutive academic terms or until you obtain the baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first, as long as you maintain good academic standing and meet the performance standards set by the department. You may be awarded a scholarship in only one talent area. You must attend full time (12-16 credit hours) during the Fall and Winter terms (Spring/Summer terms excluded). You must major in the talent area for which you are applying: Art Forensics Music Dance Theatre
