FPC 5660: Entrepreneurship in the Arts is a course on focused on creativity, combining theory and experiential assignments, to introduce students to the main concepts of creativity. Students will explore creativity and its relation to individuals, organizations and the entrepreneurial process. Students will learn various tools to identify, understand and promote creativity within themselves and others, processes to increase creativity, how to contribute to a creative team, how to manage creativity and how to establish a culture of creativity within organizations. As a result, students should have greater understanding of and appreciation for creative processes and be better equipped to harness and direct those forces for themselves and others.
