Fall arts preview: Upcoming events

An arts calendar feature notes that Wayne State University's heralded graduate repertory theater (the nation's oldest such company) is marking its 50th anniversary this season. Othello and the Michigan premiere of Lisa D'Amour's Detroit are two of the most anticipated productions of the season.

Also noted are several Wayne State CFPCA partner events, including Detroit Design Festival, Sep. 19-23, Dlectricity, Oct. 5-6, and Detroit Passport to the Arts, Oct. - May.
